rest in peace uncle kc. my dad surprised me tonight with his death a few days ago.
i've known him since i was in middle school and he has been so supportive of me through all these years; even more so than my own parents. since middle school to high school, he has attended majority of my orchestra concerts and persuaded me to continue playing music. when i bumped into him in my lobby, he would always try to sneak me money for every little thing possible: gas, food, spending, just anything. him and his wife would always invite me to lunch. it was a really nice time to catch up and chat on how i was doing with school, work, life, etc. him and his wife traveled the world and they would get me little gifts from all over.
he has been really good to all of my family members. my dad told me to call uncle kc a few weeks ago since he wasn't doing too well but i was too lazy to do so and now i will never get a chance to talk to him again. i miss him so much since he was family to me.
with that said, thank you uncle for always being there for me and always looking out for my well being. you will definitely be missed in kukui plaza and the community. God is taking good care of you now...
